The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is the world's leading environmental organisation, with more than 1,300 projects operating in over 100 countries. WWF's vision is to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature. The WWF-Malaysia Sustainable Markets Programme (SMP) seeks to shift markets of high impact food, fibre and bio fuel commodities towards sustainable production through uts more than 50 commodity experts working around the globe, extensive engagement with industries, and involvement with multiple industry roundtables.
WWF-Malaysia (World Wide Fund for Nature-Malaysia) was established in Malaysia in 1972. It currently runs more than 90 projects covering a diverse range of environmental conservation and protection work, from saving endangered species such as tigers and turtles, to protecting our highland forests, rivers and seas. The national conservation organisation also undertakes environmental education and advocacy work to achieve its conservation goals.
